‘Porth’ means ‘Gate’ and The Parish of Porth Newydd is the Gateway to the Rhondda Valleys, what was one of the most famous Coal Producing Valleys in the World.
The Parish is part of the Diocese of Llandaff and part of the World Wide Anglican Communion.
