Exploring Christianity - Part 2 and 3 ( http://www.christianityexplored.com shows an insight of the course)
Father
Graham Lloyd is delighted to report that Pat Morris is resuming the Parish
study sessions. This time it will be in St
Lukes Church on a Wednesday evening commencing at 7.15pm.
The course material follows on from "Christianity Explored" which Pat presented in a very professional manner. The first session is on Wednesdy 6th July, 2005 and the course will last for exactly four weeks. We shall then have a break for the summer and resume in mid September - more detials will follow nearer the time.
Father Graham is looking forward to seeing all past customers and hoping that they will each bring one other "new customer" with them.

Exploring Christianity - Part 1 ( http://www.christianityexplored.com shows an insight of the course)
This is a 10 week course to discover Christianity for everyone.
We all ask the big questions: who am I, what is my purpose in life, where does life come from? CE is a great place to find out what the Christian faith has to say on these issues."
- Jonathan Edwards, Olympic Triple-Jumper
Developed over 10 years, Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who'd like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him.
You're not asked to pray, sing, or read aloud, and you can ask any question you like. Or, if you prefer, you can come along and simply listen.
Quote from Father Graham Lloyd - Extract Taken from the Parish Magazine - "Compass"
"One of the exciting things in our Parish in the last month or so has been the commencement of our process evangelism course, "Exploring Christianity". My dictionary defines the word explore as 'to travel into or through for the purpose of discovery'.Our Parochial Church Council (PCC) decided to run the course as part of our Mission Action Plan. Every Member was in agreement and full of enthusiasm. The problem arose however when we sought someone to run the course for us. Who was willing, with God's guidance and the enabling power of the Spirit, to 'just go ahead and do it'?.
At the very point in our PCC deliberations when we were about to abandon the plan, Pat Morris offered to have a shot at it.
The first half of the course has been run with great success, with usually around 12 to 14 customers each week. They were made up of old hands, youngsters and some of our adult confirmation candidates. The second half of the course commences within a week or so. (See Diary). If you have not yet dipped into it, why not come along.
Sincere thanks to Pat for her willingness and vision; not forgetting Marshall for humping the TV, Video player etc. each week."
